Mu Op Sauce Ma Prow On - Pork in Young Coconut Sauce
For this dish, you need either the flesh & juice of young green coconut or if you can't find that, get young coconut in a can in it's own juices. Older brown coconuts will not work for this recipe.

Ingredients
- 300 gms Pork Meat
- 50 gms Young Coconut Meat With Juice
- 2 Tablespoons Ketchup
- 2 Tablespoons Light Soy Sauce
- 2 Tablespoons Oyster Sauce
- 2 Tablespoons Chilli Sauce
- 2 Tablespoons Lemon Juice
- 2 Tablespoons Red Wine
- 1 Teaspoon Salt
- 1 Tablespoon Sugar
- 1 Teaspoon White Pepper
- 2 Tablespoons Water
Directions
- Clean the pork meat and slice it into bite size strips.
- Mix all ingredients in a small bowl, add the pork, cover and all it to marindate overnight in the refridgerator.
- In a medium saucepan over moderate heat, add the pork and marinade and simmer slowly (10-15 minutes) untill the pork has cooked through and the marinade has reduced in volume.
- Serve hot with white rice and chinese cabbage (bok choy).
