Ahi Tuna Wraps With Avocado

This recipe is simple, quick, and very tasty.

Yield:

Serves 4

Ingredients

  1. For the dressing:

  3. 2 tablespoons cilantro, chopped
  4. 1 tablespoon mayonnaise
  5. 2 tablespoons sour cream
  6. juice of 1/2 a lime
  7. 1/2-1 teaspoon sugar
  8. salt and pepper to taste
  9. .
  10. For the wraps:
  11. =============
  12. 1 large ahi tuna steak
  13. olive oil
  14. salt and pepper
  15. 1/4 cabbage, shredded
  16. 1 avocado, sliced
  17. 1 tomato, sliced
  18. 4 tortillas

Directions

  1. Whisk all ingredients together in a small bowl.
  2. Rub ahi steak with olive oil and season with salt and pepper. Sear the steak in a very hot skillet on both sides until browned on the outside but pink in the middle. Remove from pan and let rest for at least ten minutes. Then slice into strips.
  3. Toss shredded cabbage with the dressing. Set aside.
  4. Season avocado and tomato with salt and pepper.
  5. Place a few strips of tuna, a small amount of the cabbage mixture, 2 slices of tomato, and two slices of avocado on each tortilla. Wrap up like a burrito or simply fold in half like a taco.
